Standard Apparel was founded in 2007 with a mission to acquire high quality sought after clothing lines for distribution in North America. We seek out brands with a strong history, powerful branding and untapped potential. Today, we are the exclusive Canadian distributors of Fred Perry, Filson, Hudson Bay Company Signature Collection, Aigle, Oliver Spencer, Mads Norgaard, Rivieras, and Nau.

We are focused on securing placement for each of our brands at appropriate retailers, and working directly with each account to ensure successful sell through. We continuously increase sales while driving brand awareness by providing a full service offering of sales, marketing and distribution.

Standard Apparel also strategically owns and operates branded free-standing retail stores in Toronto. Currently, we operate the Fred Perry and Oliver Spencer retail stores located in the fashionable Queen Street West area of downtown Toronto.

Our founders have been in the Canadian wholesale distribution business for over 30 years launching well-known brands in a variety of industries including: Nintendo, Sony PlayStation and Vespa.

We work closely with a PR agency who is dedicated to promoting our brands and retailers through traditional media and new media channels within Canada and internationally.


Alongside our brand partners, we develop national and regional promotions and events, which provide a unique opportunity to build awareness of our brands among their respective target demographics, and create favourable and lasting impressions.


We work directly with our retailers to develop and execute store specific promotions and events.
